Nanning, June 17 — Integral, Esquel Group's Sustainable Development Garden in Guilin, showcased its Zero-Carbon Park practices at the 2026 National Low Carbon Day, co-hosted by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment and the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in Nanning. Held under the theme “Green Transition, Together in Action,” the event promoted low-carbon development and encouraged broader public participation in China's green transition.

During the summit, Mr. Li Gao, Vice Minister of Ecology and Environment, and Ms. Sui Guohua, Vice Chairman of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, visited the Integral booth. The Integral team introduced Integral’s development journey and shared how its day-to-day operations have delivered measurable results in energy optimization and carbon mitigation.

During the afternoon thematic session, “The Collection of Green and Low-Carbon Practice Cases in Guangxi” was officially released, highlighting exemplary projects in industrial upgrading and energy innovation. Integral was selected as one of the featured case studies in recognition of its measurable achievements in low-carbon transformation and high-quality sustainable manufacturing.

Mr. Sun Dayong, General Manager of Integral, delivered a keynote presentation on Esquel Group’s sustainability journey and its efforts to move up both ends of the “Smiling Curve” through innovation and value creation.

He also shared Integral’s transformation from a degraded industrial site in 2013 into today’s thriving Sustainable Development Garden, illustrating how ecological restoration and industrial development can advance hand in hand.

Integral’s transformation reflects its commitment to supporting China’s Dual Carbon Goals by embedding green, high-quality development into everyday operations. Its operational initiatives span multiple dimensions, from large-scale solar photovoltaic infrastructure and zero industrial wastewater discharge to China’s first botanical garden dedicated to natural dye plants.
